2021年1月のコロナ禍での輸入状況

輸入しよ〜と思ってたらなんだか色々トラブルの予感なので備忘録と誰かのためになればとまとめておきます。主にハオルチアの輸入状況です。

2020年のクリスマス前あたりにシェーラムにオーダーを出しました。クリスマス前なので年が明けてからオーダーに着手するという返信が数日後に来ましたが、何も動きがなかったので今日問い合わせたところ、以下のような返事が来ました。

I would love to send plants, but at the moment with limited flights in and out of RSA it takes at least 8 weeks for a parcel to arrive at destination.

Several clients have asked for orders to be cancelled or wait till covid delays are less.

I cannot take the chance of losing plants and money due to extended delays.

I can only use DHL and according to their policy they do not transport plants to Japan

One client reported that the plants arrived in good condition after 2 months, but this is not going to be the case with all orders

I do’nt know what to do regarding exports.

訳：植物送りたいけど南アからの航空便が超減ってて、荷物が届くまでに最低でも８週間かかる。数人のクライアントとオーダーの取消やコロナによる遅延がなくなるまで待つというやりとりがあった。なるべく死着やお金の無駄は避けたい。DHLしか使えないけど、DHLのポリシーでは日本には植物は送れない。

クライアントの一人は発送して２ヶ月後に荷物がいい状態で届いたと連絡が来たけど、全てのケースで上手く行くわけではない。も〜輸出に関してはどうすればいいのかわかんないよ〜。

ってことでかなり厳しい模様。私はフライト状況がよくなるまで待つことにしました。

続いてカンブルー（カンブロー？）。こちらも同じく去年の暮れにオーダーして、年が明けるまで発送を待っていました。カンブルーとは別件でメールのやりとりしていたのですが、例によって輸出状況に関するメールが来ました。

Just a quick update regarding your current Kambroo order.

Things have become far more complicated with shipping here from South
Africa with minimal flights due to the COVID restrictions, further,
changes to the regulations have also arose from the UK/Brexit split.

At this stage I cannot use the Mailwise - Airmail system, at this time
and can only send by International Courier now, this is very expensive
(starting at around $75)

Would you like me to
1) either put your order on hold and wait for better times, but I am
uncertain how long this will be
2) or I send you an invoice for the Phyto document and balance of the
shipping cost

Please let me know how you would like me to proceed with your order. I
am really sorry about this, since the pandemic started, exporting has
become a nightmare.

訳：以前のオーダーに関して取り急ぎ連絡します。南アからのフライトがコロナによる規制で最小限になり、加えてブレクジットの影響で規制の変更も発生しました。今の段階ではMailwiseーAirmailは使えず、International Courierでしか発送できません。しかしこれはめちゃ高い（送料７５ドルから）。

どうして欲しい？

1.　オーダーをストップして事態が良くなるのを待つ。でもいつよくなるかわかんねー。

2.　（発送して欲しければ）検疫書と送料についてインボイス送る。

どうして欲しいか返事ください。こんなことになって申し訳ない、パンデミックになってから輸出は悪夢みたいな状況になった。

らしい。こちらは事態が改善されるまでにまだまだ時間がかかりそうなので、高くても発送をお願いする予定です。

ちなみに同時期にチェコからも輸入しましたが、そちらは問題なく届きました。南アが特にやばそう。輸入する際は皆さんお気をつけて。
