葉挿しのやり方 How to propagate Haworthia from leaf

There are many ways to propagate them, probably because of their toughness, and I'd like to introduce them soon. You don't have to worry about how to do it because it will grow if you just rip it off and leave it alone, but there are some techniques to increase the success rate.

ハオってなんでもいけるよね。頑強さ故か色々な増やし方があるのでそのうち紹介したい。

もぎって放っておけば増えるので別にやり方とか気にしなくてもいいんだけど、成功率を上げるためのテクニックをいくつか。

First, this. A fungicide and a rooting agent mixed and dissolved in water. Just dip the cut end of the leaf in this and you're good to go.

まずこれ。殺菌剤と発根剤を混ぜて水に溶かしたもの。トップジンとルートンとジマンダイセンを同じくらいの割合で水に溶かす。ルートンはもうちょい少なめでいいかも。これに葉の切り口を漬けるだけでオーケー。

After letting it dry out a bit, it's time to place it. Put some pumice or akadama in the bottom of the pot and cover it with a thin layer of regular soil. If you put water on it, it will be hard for the cut edge to dry so leave it as it is.

少し乾かしたら次は置き場。鉢底に軽石とか赤玉を目潰しに入れて普通の培養土をうすーく被せるだけ。水はかけると切り口が乾きにくくなるのでそのままで。

Then put the leaves upright. I don't remember the reason, but it's hormonal, darker, and it's easier for the roots to grow down.

そしたら葉を立て掛けておく。理由は忘れたけどホルモンが云々カンヌンと暗い方が云々カンヌンとあと根が生えたときに下に伸びてくれるのでやりやすい。

It can be placed under a shelf or in a dark place. But it should not be completely dark. It needs to be well ventilated. Let the plants dry out for the first week, but after that, you can water them when you water other plants. I think the plants do better when they are exposed to weak sunlight and watered.　The roots will grow and then I'll cover the top with soil, but I'll write more about that later.

置き場所は棚下とか暗い場所でオーケー。でも真っ暗はダメ。通風もなきゃダメ。最初の１週間は乾かすけどそのあとは苗に水やりするときに一緒にかけちゃって大丈夫。弱い日が当たって水やりもしてる方が上手くいくことが多い気がする。そのうち根が生えてくるのでそしたら上から土を被せるんだけど、また記事にする予定。
